General Description
- This competition is open to all club members who compete in a single section
- The Print Panel shall consist of three to five prints, as decided by the Committee and communicated to the members
- The competition is Open to all Club members
- Sections, Advanced and Standard do not apply
- The Print Panel shall consist of three to five prints, as decided by the Committee
Rules
- Only one Print Panel may be submitted per member
- Each print be any size and shape but, including their mounts, must be mounted on stiff card or board no larger than 500mm x 400mm, and 4mm thick , including the mount, and be mounted separately
- The prints may be home or commercially processed
- The committee may occasionally set a subject for the competition; otherwise the subject will be open
- All the prints in a member’s Print Panel will be shown simultaneously on an easel
- Entries used in the Print Panel competition can be used in other club competitions, except another year’s Print Panel competition
- Each print must be clearly marked on the reverse side with the photographer’s name, the image title and a number indicating the order in which the prints will be displayed on the easel (from left to right)
- Judging of the competition will be carried out by a judge selected by the committee, who will award marks out of 20
- All images must be the sole work of the entrant
- Entry for all trophies is via submission to the PhotoEntry website
- Images must be submitted as a 1600×1200 JPG file, in sRGB IEC61966-2.1 format
- All entries must be uploaded by 12noon on the Sunday 8 days before the competition date
- Each image must have a title entered when uploading
- Titles can be up to 50 characters in length
As guidance, it is usually a good practice to select images on a theme, i.e.: Flowers, Natural History, Portraits, etc.
