Print Prepartion
- All prints should be mounted on stiff card or board no larger than 500mm x 400mm, and 4mm thick , including the mount
- It is recommended that you use white, off-white, or black mount board
- Prints can be mounted professionally or self-mounted
- Mount boards can be orientated either landscape (up to maximum of 500mm wide x 400mm high), or portrait (up to 400mm wide x 500mm high)
- As well as mounting your print you must submit an electronic copy of your print via submission to the PhotoEntry website by 12noon on the Sunday 8 days before the competition
- Labels must be attached to the back of your mount, top, left-hand side:
- Name: Your name
- Title: The title of your image (up to 50 characters)
- Competition: The name of the competition you are entering:
- For internal competitions this will be the round and set subject (TOC2: Minimalistic” in this example), or “TOC2: Open”, or “Panel” for panel competitions
- For external competitions it would be the name of the competition
- Category: Advanced or Standard
- Date: The date of the competition
- Number: The run number allocated to your image in the competition entry report
- For Panel competitions this would be the run number followed by the print number within the panel:
- Judge: Optional, for your information
- Score: For your records, after the print has been judged
- DOCX or PDF versions available so you can print your own labels on standard A4 paper, fill them in, and glue them to the mount
- Labelled, mounted images must be submitted at the club by no later than 19:30 on the evening of the competition event
