Very colourful images, I especially like Nagui’s vivid image and way lights are refracted through the crystal
Ahh Christmas is coming and everyone is busy…. only 4 entries this week – I love Ian’s image – very…
The B&W images are my favourites too, with Nagui’s being my overall favourite.
Some lovely portraits here – the three that stand out to me are the ones in B&W. I love the…
Blue is my favourite colour, and I really enjoyed this challenge. SOme really great shots here – lots of variety…
Well done to everyone who captured real rainbows, and also for the creative alternatives. Top marks to Ian’s entry, what a great idea.
In case anyone is interested in how I made the twirled picture, see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8T3_Ew0wqU&feature=youtu.be&fbclid=IwAR2rM51zjq4KBUSGc_hS6O-iZ-niaZTxYYrk1bTut-HjkQiYRmA-mP0Rm30. Endless hours of fun. 🙂
Another great set of photos. I like David’s and Tony’s for the great locations, and Ian’s flowers for their originality. I must say I’m surprised no-one opted for the “thanks NHS” rainbows!
Ians image really stands out, a clever idea. I also like Brendas and Davids rainbow.
Thanks Sharon, June, and Mary! 😀 It didn’t take that long, finding the right colour plants and then selecting the 7 (from the 50 or so I took) best photos to use took the most time. I’ve got presets stored in Lightroom, so it only took a couple of mouse clicks to get all 7 images ready for slicing and composition in Photoshop.
The 7 plants are: Red – Crocosmia, Orange – Day Lily, Yellow – Dahlia, Green – Rosemary, Blue – Agapanthus, Indigo – Buddleia, and Violet – Purple Loose Strife.
I particularly like Bob’s, Julie’s, June’s, and Mary’s for their creativity and different take on the subject. My favourite “traditional” rainbow is Brenda’s, but enjoyed seeing all of them. 🌈 🌈🌈🌈😊
Thanks Sharon. A lovely display of rainbows – and rainbow colours. Well done everyone. My favourite this week for its originality is Ian’s 7 colour stitched images of the flowers in his garden. As for real rainbows – David’s Rainbow over Signal hill looks great, and I like Tony’s Rainbow in Fowey Harbour.
A lovely colourful collection. Enjoying the colourful double rainbows of Nagui’s and Nigel’s images. Julie’s twirls inspired me (on Flickr) as I had forgotten to enter. Bob’s rainbow flowers drew me in, liked the texture too. Especially liked Ian’s professional looking image of all the 7 garden rainbow colours too, looks like it took a while to put together!
Loved Mary’s tulips, just because I love good flower photos. Also Ian’s for the same reason, but also because he has the colours, and the order he puts them in, exactly right.
Julie’s twirls v interesting too.
